FAQ
Where is Paint Pros MA based and what areas do you serve?
Paint Pros MA is based in Haverhill, MA. We proudly serve residential and commercial clients throughout Massachusetts,
Southern New Hampshire, and Maine.
What services does Paint Pros MA specialize in?
We specialize in interior and exterior painting, drywall installation and repair, plastering, cabinet painting and refinishing,
and large-scale commercial painting projects. We’re known for handling complex prep and finish work that other contractors avoid.
What makes Paint Pros MA different from other painters?
Our process is built around prep done right. That means protecting your home or facility, properly repairing surfaces,
using premium primers and coatings, and following clean, organized jobsite standards. The result is a finish that looks better,
lasts longer, and holds up to New England weather.
How quickly can you schedule a project?
Most projects are scheduled within 1–3 weeks. Scheduling depends on project size and season, but we’re known for fast estimates,
clear timelines, and reliable start dates. During your estimate, we’ll confirm realistic scheduling so there are no surprises.
Do you offer after-hours, night, or weekend scheduling?
Yes. When a project requires it, we can schedule work during evenings, nights, or weekends. This is especially helpful for
occupied homes, businesses, and facilities that need minimal disruption during normal hours. Availability depends on project scope
and is discussed during the estimate process.
Do you help with drywall and plaster repairs before painting?
Yes. Drywall and plaster repair is a core part of what we do. We handle everything from small patches to full wall repairs and
new drywall installation, ensuring surfaces are smooth and paint-ready before any finish work begins.
Do I need to move furniture or prepare my space?
We handle most prep, including floor protection and masking. We may ask you to move small personal items, but large furniture is
typically protected or moved as part of our process. Your estimator will review prep expectations ahead of time.
What brands of paint do you use?
We primarily use premium products from Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore to ensure durability, color accuracy, and long-lasting
results. Specific products are selected based on the surface, space, and usage needs of each project.
How do payments work?
Payment terms depend on project size and scope. Details, including deposits and final payment timing, are clearly outlined in
your proposal before work begins. All projects are subject to a 25% deposit.
Will someone be managing my project on-site?
Yes. Every project is overseen by a crew leader or project manager to ensure quality, cleanliness, communication, and adherence to
the scope of work.
Do you work year-round in New England?
Yes. We operate year-round. Interior projects continue through winter, and exterior work is scheduled based on weather conditions
to ensure proper curing and long-term performance.
Can you work around business hours or occupied spaces?
Absolutely. For commercial spaces, schools, daycares, offices, and facilities, we coordinate scheduling to minimize disruption and
maintain safety and cleanliness.
Are estimates done in person or virtually?
Most estimates are done in person to ensure accuracy, especially for drywall and prep-heavy projects. In some cases, virtual
estimates may be available for smaller or clearly defined jobs.
Do I need to be present for the estimate?
Yes, we strongly prefer that the homeowner or decision-maker is on site during the estimate. Being there allows us to walk the
project together, answer questions in real time, understand what’s most important to you, and set clear expectations around scope,
materials, and timeline. This helps ensure an accurate proposal and a smoother project from start to finish.
